Reduces Friction to a Fraction
IXL is a metal conditioner that has been used for over 20 years to reduce ferrous metal on metal friction and to increase equipment performance.IXL works at the molecular level to reduce friction by penetrating into, and bonding onto, the microscopic openings on the walls of ferrous-based metals. The surfaces become smoother and denser, and this reduces the heat, friction, metal expansion, and wear caused by moving metal surfaces. The benefits are reduced maintenance activities (and costs!), increased fuel efficiency, and prolonged equipment life.
IXL bonds to the metal-not to plastic, paper, or fiber. It will not clog filters, pipes, injectors, or supply lines. Additionally, IXL does not build or accumulate upon itself, as do many other additives.IXL does not contain Moly, PTFE, or graphite. IXL also offers the tremendous benefits of being non-toxic.
IXL is used as a friction reducer and performance enhancer in gas or diesel engines, transmissions, automatic or standard gear boxes, electric motors, turbos, out drives, lathe and cutting applications, and most other locations or operating conditions where ferrous metals work against each other causing friction. The IXL Anti-Friction Metal Conditioner does not replace the lubricant; rather it is added directly to the existing lubricant as a metal conditioner.Consult your vehicle or equipment manufacturer's manual and/or warranty information concerning the use of additives. We do not recommend using any additive in contravention of your vehicle manufacturer's instructions.

A small amount of IXL Anti-Friction Metal Conditioner goes a long way. Generally, only 1-4 ounces of IXL should be added for each quart of lubricant, following the instructions below. CAR AND LIGHT TRUCK ENGINES (CRANKCASE)
For the first application of IXL, add 2 ounces of IXL per quart of motor oil directly into the motor oil reservoir. Future applications should be 1 oz. of IXL per quart of motor oil every 10,000 miles or for every third oil change.
